International Day of Prayer for the Maltese Islands

About Us

Who is praying?

This effort is being coordinated by missionaries from the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in America but is open to all born again believers. It will also involve an inter-denominational prayer service of local churches in Malta.

 

Why August 8th?

Many believers use the popular "Operation World" publication by Patrick Johnstone and Jason Mandryk to aid them in praying knowledgeably for countries around the globe. Malta is listed on August 8^th, and therefore we choose  to join in with those already praying on this day.

 

How can I be involved?

First, commit to join us personally and then encourage others to be a part of this international event with eternal results. All churches, prayer teams, and small groups are invited to join us in prayer. We are asking churches to encourage their church members to pray for Malta individually or in small groups during the year leading to a special meeting, August 8^th.
